According to BP:
The rumored asking price (for Cabrera) is three players – one pitcher and position player that are under three years of service time and “solid ink-’em-in guys.” The other would be a “plus prospect, not the best guy on the team, but useful. The Marlins will probably look for a slugger.”
Ian Kennedy, Melky, and Shelley Duncan anyone?
The Marlins can probably get more, but it’d be a great deal for the Yankees.
Even if Miggy can’t play 3rd, he’d still be damn useful on the other side of the diamond.
